Aerial Silks

Stretch, climb, and wrap yourself with beauty and grace in our Tissu classes! Students learn the fundamentals of aerial tissu climbing, develop respect for the apparatus, and get a workout at the same time. This class is open to new students of all abilities who want to try something a little out of the ordinary or continuing students who would like to reinforce the basics of the silk. All levels are allowed in this class, though special emphasis is placed on the fundamentals. We want to create strong, safe, beautiful performers!

A you progress, your instructor will assess whether or not you are ready to try Aerial drops. Safety always comes first! When you are ready we will help you create performance quality pieces by executing multiple skills with seamless transitions. You will develop your personal style of climbing and add your finishing touches to those fancy new tricks! Work on moving together with a partner or group through musicality and awareness.

Classes are available for Kids ages 6 years and older, as well as adults. We also have classes for both kids and adults. These classes are perfect for parents and children to enjoy the aerial arts together!

Please wear leggings or capri pants that cover the backs of your knees and a t-shirt that covers your underarms. You will be much less likely to experience silk burns if you wear these items. No bare skin, jewelry, large hair clips, or especially rings are allowed.
