POLE DANCE CLASSES

With only 6 poles and a maximum of 12 students per class, The Pole Room students get intimate, hands-on classes. Safety is our number one priority. By keeping our classes small, we ensure that everyone is in the correct form, understands instruction properly, and receives the personal attention each and everyone deserves. Intro to Pole Sequence

Intro to Pole Sequence

This is a sequence based class. You will learn moves in an order and practice putting them together at the end of class. Challenging for the mind and body! Come again and again to practice the sequence and give it your own spicy flare – we will either add on to it to “level it up” or learn an entirely new sequence about every quarter of the year!

Pole for Beginners

Pole for Beginners

Develop a pole dance foundation, including all the moves you will need to advance into subsequent higher levels of pole. This saucy class heats up with a Pilates based sensual warm-up and sultry transitions, beginning pole spins, basic climbs, and fun choreography.

No shoes. Perfect for beginners.

Pole Choreo

Pole Flow & Freestyle

Routine Maintenance! Let’s give your pole work some flow in this choreography based class. Simple to follow, beginning and intermediate class.

Prerequisites: at least 3 prior pole fitness classes.

Pole Dance Mixed Level

A new spin on fitness! This is a mixed class, so no matter your level, you will learn the move that’s just right for you! Class begins with a sultry, touch-me-feel-me floor warm-up and workout, then moves to the poles for sport-specific conditioning, spins, choreography, climbs, and inverts (when you’re ready).

No shoes. All levels welcome from beginner to advanced.

Spinning Pole Mixed Level

You spin me right round, baby! Learn the art of the spinning pole in this mixed-level class. You will have the option to learn moves on static or spinning poles.

Prerequisite of 6 regular pole classes before spinning pole. No shoes.

AERIAL CLASSES

In our intimate aerial classes, you will learn the skills of Aerial Silks and Yoga Hammock, with no more than 6 people per class and the instructor’s full attention at all times. Always wanted to run away and join the circus? This is your opportunity to do so!

Aerial Art Creation Group

Aerial Art Creation Group

Let’s take our Friday nights and pour ourselves into creativity together. The first hour is warm up, self or group creation and practice, then the last half hour is each of us going through what we have so far on our art pieces and we all watch and give positive feedback!

Prerequisite: Must have attended 4 aerial classes. Instructor available for spotting and troubleshooting. Proper attire required.

Aerial Basics

Aerial Basics

Everyone has to start somewhere and this is the class to find your love for aerial silks! Begin with warm-up stretches on the ground and in the air to get your muscles ready and then move on to basic climbs, wraps, and skills needed to get you into the air. This is a full body workout that incorporates strength, flexibility, and beauty. The class will be catered and paced to the individuals each week. All ages are welcome!

Please, no jewelry on hands or wrists. Tight fitting pants that cover the backs of your knees is recommended and a shirt that covers your armpits is required. See you in the air!

Aerial Dance

Aerial Dance

We use aerial apparatus to learn sequences and bring your dance off the ground! The different apparatus might include split silks, dance trapeze, lyra, or hammock silks. We use the different apparatus to support exploring three dimensional space with our bodies as art.

Prerequisite: Proper attire covering knees required. Dance or Aerial experience helpful.

Aerial Lyra or Hoop private lessons are anything but ordinary! Try something new while gaining strength, flexibility, and balance! Work on mind‐body connections in a fun, friendly environment! Aerial Lyra is open to new students young and old who want to learn the basic skills and returning students who want to reinforce and build on those skills.

All-levels and no experience is necessary.

Aerial Silks (for adults and kids)

Aerial Silks (for adults and kids)

Elevate your fitness! Learn the art of Aerial silks. Part acrobatics, part gymnastics, part Pilates, all an amazing workout. You’ll learn basic skills such as foot lock and climbs, and progress to complicated wraps, poses, and, if you’re ready, aerial drops.

*Please wear close-fitting clothing such as long leggings that cover the back of your knees and a t-shirt that will cover your underarms, but won’t ride up when you’re upside down. No shoes. All levels welcome.

Take your yoga practice to new heights! Aerial yoga uses the silk swing to support the weight of the body so you can attain optimal alignment in yoga asana. Decompress the spine while strengthening the core muscles, access deeper backbends, and sustain challenging inversions.

Aerial Yoga Play allows a combination of benefits similar to aerial yoga, pilates, suspended resistance training, acrobatics, and dance all rolled into one for an amazing suspended fitness experience. It allows for all the benefits of traditional yoga- flexibility, strength and balance – with the unique conditioning of aerial dance and acrobatics for an exhilarating new way of approaching yoga. Sculpt your body in the air, using our special yoga swings, as you tone muscles, find balance, and increase flexibility.

All levels, no experience necessary. Please wear a t-shirt to class. No tank tops or bare skin allowed.

Aerial Yoga Rx

Aerial Yoga Rx

This aerial yoga regenerative therapeutic (AYRx) practice is safe and effective for every level of experience and age. The AYRx swing is stretchy, comfy, and massages your muscles as you move. It is supportive so you can hang, stretch, push and pull in 3D space.

Come discover how you can suspend your body, open the spine, and create more space in the neck and lower back to assist in rehabilitating these commonly strained areas. You’ll be amazed at how much better you feel!

Bonus: Mention “Yogassage” and, if you’re comfortable with hands-on, get special attention in the swing at the end of class during relaxation.

Proper attire required: Armpits and Knees covered.

CONDITIONING CLASSES

From Pilates, to Balance Board Yoga, Barre Classes and more, conditioning classes will help support and/or supplement your pole and aerial endeavors. These classes will also perfect your coordination, strength, flexibility, body awareness, and more.

Aerial Conditioning

Aerial Conditioning

This all-levels Aerial Conditioning class will improve your functional strength, tone your body, and improve your aerial practice and physical fitness.

This 1-hour workout includes traditional ground warm-ups and exercises on 2-3 aerial apparatuses including tissu, hammock, lyra, and/or trapeze. Make your aerial tricks effortless by increasing your strength!

Flexibility and Deep Stretch

Mobility and Flexibility

In this class we work on actively improving our flexibility and strength to obtain certain skills like Splits, Backbends and some standing poses you might know from Yoga Classes. The warm-up is dynamic and contains some cardio as well as strengthening to ensure our muscles are warm and ready to release. We will be active and passive stretching for our legs, shoulders, and back before we work on individual goals at the end of the class.

This class is suitable for ages 12 and up and we will be encouraging each other to breathe through the challenges of stepping outside our comfort zones! No experience necessary, only will power.

DANCE CLASSES

Groove to the beat and move those feet! Our dance classes range from Ballet, Lyrical, and social dances to the erotic art of lap dancing, chair dancing, and Burlesque. All you need is the desire to learn and we’ll take care of the rest. No experience necessary unless noted.

An intro to the empowering and intriguing world of burlesque! No stripping or experience necessary. Welcome to the tantalizing art of the tease, a world full of rhinestones, glitter, feathers, and fun! In this class, we will be exploring some basic bumps, grind, wiggles, and shakes to help you find your own fun, flirty, and ferocious femme flow!

Cardio Choreo

Experienced dancers and non-dancers welcome! Class begins with a dance-based warm-up and moves into fun choreography that builds over the course of the class. The music changes as you build your dance repetoire, giving way to experience and expression with musicality. Learn a new dance each week!

Salsa Dance

Salsa Dance

Get sassy with Salsa! Come sweat with your sweetheart or make a new friend! No partner needed for this beginning Salsa series. Learn the fundamentals of this fun and flirty social dance. Shoes required.
